As television's longest-running, most-watched history series, American Experience brings to life the incredible characters and epic stories that helped form this nation. Now in its eighteenth season, the series has produced over 220 programs and garnered every major broadcast award.

American Experience Online premiered in November of 1995 and has since won accolades from viewers and critics alike. To date, American Experience Online has produced over 100 feature sites. These sites encourage in-depth exploration of the issues surrounding each documentary subject beyond the television screen.
