- Book
Lovers: Fine Books and Literature

- This site includes: general sites, rare books,
the study of book history, book arts & fine printing,
booksellers and publishers, links to comprehensive sites
in the book trade, libraries and collections, sources
for real and electronic texts, literature from many countries
in many languages. There are connections with music
and the visual arts, literary journals, some prominent
periodicals, and info on great writers and poets.

- Their listing includes over 930 authors. Book
Stacks is dedicated to being the comprehensive resource
for locating Authors on the Web. Their Author areas contain
one or more homepages plus interviews, biographies and
complete bibliographies.
- Children's
Literature Web Guide

- A vast site with many different ways of connecting
to children's literature including: online stories, awards,
best book lists, discussion groups, book-based movie and
TV shows, journals and online reviews. There are also
links to other literature based sites, such as those of
authors and illustrators.
- The
Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Searchable
- the-tech.mit.edu/Shakespeare/works.html
- A well organized site in which the complete works of
Shakespeare are easily searchable. Contains a glossary,
movie database and links to many other Shakespeare resources.
- The
English Server at Carnegie Mellon
- english-server.hss.cmu.edu
- The English Server provides access to online versions
of literature, poetry, research and criticism.
- intercultural

- The IECC (Intercultural E-Mail Classroom Connections)
mailing lists are provided by St. Olaf College as a free
service to help teachers and classes link with partners
in other countries and cultures for classroom e-mail,
pen-pal and project exchanges. Since its creation in 1992,
IECC has distributed over 19,000 requests for e-mail partnerships.
At last count, there were more than 6500 teachers in approximately
70 countries participating in at least one of the IECC
lists.

- This section of InkSpot Resources for Children's Writers
