Wampus Avenue
Residents of Wampus Avenue were present to comment, through a spokesperson, a letter, and a petition, on their proposal that the Town of North Castle act to close Wampus Avenue to traffic on weekends, initially on a trial basis. Previous interactions between the Town, the School District, and the residents were acknowledged, and the visitors were thanked by the Board and the superintendent for their civility in the public meeting.

The superintendent also noted that he had written, on behalf of the School Board, to the Town Board with a series of questions and concerns about their proposed action. Residents of Wampus Avenue were promised further news from the School District after the Town Board's response.
