MONDAY JULY 22, 2019 - TUESDAY JULY 23, 2019:

ROBOT MINI COURSE

”Using problem-based learning, you can engage students in grappling with content, create a venue for differentiation, foster executive function, and build the kinds of skills students need to succeed in the creative economy”.(IDEA Corp)  However, transitioning from a more traditional approach to problem-based learning can seem daunting. Teachers no longer are certain what outcomes students will produce. Teachers work alongside their students offering guidance or problem solving with them.  This course is designed to demonstrate to teachers how a problem based robotics course can be run. Teachers will observe, learn and participate in the pedagogy of problem based learning, while engaging in the exciting world of robotics and coding.
