Choral/Vocal Music Teacher (Probationary)
Successful candidate will:
- Model proper vocal technique in various style and languages
- Be well-versed in vocal pedagogy for middle and high school voices
- Possess a high level of musicianship and excellent piano skills
- Think creatively and incorporate innovative instructional techniques
- Establish structure and appropriate boundaries for student-centered learning
- Demonstrate understanding of the National Core Arts Standards / NY State Standards
- Partner freely with colleagues, students, and families
- Be familiar with legitimate choral and vocal repertoire
- Inspire and engage all students in large ensemble settings
- Balance priorities appropriately while remaining prepared and organized

Full-time probationary appointment as an elementary teacher, grades K-5.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR (GRADES K-2)
We seek a successful candidate for a School Counselor who exhibits the following criteria:
- Provides leadership and collaborates with other educators
- Develops, maintains, and delivers curriculum to support District social and emotional wellness initiatives
- Assists all students, individually or in groups in promoting academic and social/emotional growth
- Accurately and appropriately interprets and utilizes student data
- Provides individual and group counseling to students
- Consults and collaborates effectively with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and other educational/community resources
- Assists in the development and monitoring of Positive Behavior Support Plans
- Supports teachers, parents/guardians and other stakeholders in maintaining school’s positive behavior support climate
- Participates and facilitates the Instructional Support Team
- Oversees systems associated with state testing and Academic Intervention Services
