C.H.I.L.D.

C.H.I.L.D. is a parent based committee of the Byram Hills PTSA. C.H.I.L.D. is a network of resources, information and support for educators and families with children who have learning, emotional and/or mental health differences, from preschool through high school. C.H.I.L.D. is also a resource for those educators and families considering whether a child might have learning or other differences. Contact child@bhptsa.org for additional information.

The C.H.I.L.D. committee aims to:

  • provide parents with networking and information-sharing opportunities
  • assist educators in their efforts to meet the diverse learning needs of children throughout the district
  • foster communication, collaboration and information sharing among parents and educators regarding the district’s programs for children with learning, emotional and mental health differences
  • promote success among children with learning, emotional and mental health differences
