Related and Itinerant Services
Related and itinerant services are those developmental, corrective and other supportive services that are required to assist a student with a disability. They include such services as speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling services, orientation and mobility services, parent counseling and training, school health services, assistive technology services, and other appropriate developmental or corrective support services. The Committee on Special Education recommends any related service that is appropriate to a student’s individual needs.
Other than school psychology services, the district contracts with private agencies for the provision of related services.
