GUIDELINES FOR MEDIA REQUESTS FROM OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS
The Byram Hills Central School District appreciates outside media partners who want to share in the accolades for our students and programs with the broader community. To support these partnerships, the District has established guidelines to ensure a clear and consistent process for sharing and retrieving information.

Byram Hills has its own Media and Communication Center. Our press releases are distributed to media outlets so that newsworthy stories can be identified and published in a timely and accurate manner. All press releases can also be found on our DISTRICT NEWS PAGE, with highlights shared across our official social media platforms.

Please use THIS FORM to be added to our press release distribution list and/or to request additional information related to an existing story. Submissions will be reviewed by Brian Melso, Head of Operations for Communication and Media, and directed to the appropriate District staff member at the Superintendent’s discretion.

MEDIA & COMMUNICATION CENTER
The mission of the Media & Communication Center is to showcase student accomplishments, events, and District initiatives by means of digital and social media, web content, press releases, and publications. The Media & Communication Center is committed to engaging students, faculty, staff, and the Byram Hills community. PARENTSQUARE
Byram Hills will begin using ParentSquare for school communication starting in May 2022.  ParentSquare automatically generates an account using your primary email address and phone number and automatically registers each user account to receive notifications.  We encourage you to access your account so you can download the ParentSquare mobile app and update your preferences on when and how you’re notified.
