A recent student found the characteristic of curiosity and an orientation for learning were the hottest new skills, with 72% of leaders reporting they believe it’s a valuable trait and 51% who believe it has become more important over time.

As we approach the end of the academic year, it is important to remind you of the tasks that you and your child should complete before the start of his or her senior year.

Featured College

A Featured College is a college that we choose to explore to highlight some features that make the college interesting or noteworthy. Oftentimes, this institution is overshadowed by peer institutions, however this college has institutional qualities that may be of interest to our students. Our hope is to highlight some of the features that make this college or university the Featured College.

Sending Senior Transcripts to College

After June 20th, the BHHS School Counseling staff will send graduating seniors final transcripts to the colleges and universities that you will attend in the fall.  

Superscoring the ACT

Superscoring is the process of averaging your four best subject scores from all of your ACT test attempts.

Counselor College Visits

This school year, the BHHS counselors set out to visit over 30 colleges and universities across the U.S.! The counselors met with the admissions representatives at each college, learned about the college and its programs, and asked important questions that will be helpful when advising students.

Summer School 411

The summer vacation provides an opportunity for some students to pursue additional coursework for enrichment (new courses) or remediation (repeating courses). In either case, prior permission must be obtained in order to receive academic credit at BHHS. Approval forms are available in the Counseling Office.
