NYS Regents Exams

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) will be administering June 2025 Regents exams. The following is a list of dates and times for these exams.

Test Optional for 2025-2026

In 2020, widespread test cancellations prompted most U.S. colleges to adopt test-optional policies during the initial wave of COVID-19. While some institutions decided to make this change permanent, many used this time to assess the value of standardized testing requirements.

As juniors begin the college application process, they will soon need to request letters of recommendation from their teachers. The counselors at the school will guide the juniors through the process of asking for these recommendations.
