Students can contact Mr. Allen to obtain a tutor by sending him an email at email@example.com, stating the subject(s) needed for peer tutoring services.
Additionally, students can contact their school counselor for assistance obtaining a peer tutor.

The purposes of the PSAT/NMSQT are to:
Provide a “practice” experience for the SAT Reasoning exam that most colleges require for admission.
Allow your child to receive the practice test results, the question booklet, and correct answers to analyze their performance on the PSAT to better prepare for the SAT.
Qualify students for the various scholarships administered by the National Merit Corporation which include merit scholarships and special scholarships available through your employers and/or colleges.
As part of the college application process, colleges and universities typically require students to submit two academic letters of recommendation. Additionally, BHHS school counselors write a letter for every student.
But what if you want another letter of recommendation from an employer, family friend or mentor?
You can submit additional letters of recommendation as long as you do not exceed the maximum allowed by each college. You can find this information on the college website or in Naviance.
When completing the Common Application, a student can invite an employer, friend or mentor to submit a letter on their behalf. Watch this short video (Inviting Recommenders) to learn how.

Students may struggle with executive function skills during remote learning. If you have any concerns about your child, please speak to a teacher or school counselor.
Scholarships are financial aid awards designed to help students pay for an undergraduate degree. Scholarships can be a one-time check or they can be renewable and provide money for students each semester or school year.
The best place to check for scholarships is at the college or university you plan to attend.
Did you miss the 9th Grade Parent Night hosted by Guidance on September 21st? You can watch the presentation here.
The video provides an introduction to the BHHS Guidance Department and describes the assistance that we provide students with Academic Advisement, College and Career Readiness, and Social and Emotional Learning.
