Book Databases & Reading Counts Quizzes

Reading Counts
Searchable Quiz Web site

Students may take book quizzes after they have read their Outside Reading books for Language Arts classes. HCC subscribes to Reading Counts, which provides students with over 44,000 quizzes to choose from. Students may want to choose a book title from this quiz list to fulfill their Outside Reading assignments.

(Please note: HCC library does not necessarily own all the books on this quiz list. To search for books in HCC library by quiz availability, please go to the BobCat-alog, click the Catalog tab, type in search words such as "fiction" or "mystery fiction", and narrow your search by selecting "Reading Counts" from the "Reading Program" drop-down menu, and then hit the "Subject" button to start your search.)
